Hi
I am the CISA CISM certification co-coordinator for the ISACA Northern England UK Chapter. I have set up this blog to act as an FAQ for prospective students. This help is freely given and I will try to make my advice a accurate as possible. Wherever possible I will endeavour to confirm answers to questions with ISACA in the USA but some advice is inevitably based also based upon personal experience and I provide no guarantees that the contents will improve your exam score. There may be times when ISACA in the USA have change policy or approach and this has not filtered through to me. So please accept this information in the spirit it is given as only hard work on your part studying the syllabus for your chosen exam will enable you to pass a tough exam. Welcome to my blog.
Why have I set this blog up. To be honest not a 100% sure. Seemed like a good idea at the time, self publicity, or a need to exchange ideas. I prefer the last reason. Why Shades of Grey - I work in the field of information security. In my experience there are few right or wrong answers. Meeting both the business needs of a developing organisation whilst ensuring good security is rarely black or white, yes or no, but usually a shade of grey some where in between. If you like what you see please come back and read some more. Regards Carl Thorp MSc MBCS CITP A.Inst.ISP CISM CISSP CLAS |
